I'm sitting in the airport waiting for my flight to Hawaii for a friend's son's wedding.   I have been having a good time this summer being with the two boys.   Dalton says he likes me because I'm squishy.  Translate that to fat.

Doug is still going to find a job soon.  Who knows when that will ever come.  On the other hand, he's been extremely helpful in everything lately.

This morning we slept in and stayed around the house for the morning.  Then, we went to Academy and bought a basketball so we could play hoops on the neighbors net.  Afterwards, we went to McDonald's at  Stewart Beach for an early lunch.  At 12:30, we went home to wait for David.  He came down on his motorcycle for the afternoon.  We spent the afternoon at the beach with David.  The boys surfed and played in the waves.  In the meantime, Doug brought Little Nonnie down for the rest of the week.  We all went to dinner at Mario's on 61st Street. After David left to go home, we took the boys on a golf cart ride to the corner store for ice cream.   By bedtime, Dean seamed to be getting a little sick.   Fortunately, I had some children's cough syrup here already.

I have decided to keep my diary online on a blog.  I think I might write more frequently in this manner instead of hand writing in an actual book.  For this week, see the other blog with the Nonnie camp information.
